This Policy applies to all users of our Service, including barbers (“Subscribers”) and their customers.

A. Information You Provide
We collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

- Appointment history, schedules, notes, and client information

B. Information Automatically Collected
When you use the HigherBooking website, platform, mobile app, or barber-hosted websites, we automatically collect:

C. Information from Hosted Barber Websites
HigherBooking hosts websites on behalf of Subscribers. When a visitor accesses a hosted barber website:
- HB collects server log data (IP address, browser, device type, timestamps)
- HB collects anonymous usage data via Fathom Analytics
- HB does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking on hosted barber websites
- HB does not identify individual visitors or store personal identifiers via analytics
Subscribers are the Data Controllers of all visitor and customer data submitted to their hosted website. HB acts as a Data Processor for that data.
D. Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from:
- Payment processors
- App stores
- Identity verification providers
- Form submissions from hosted barber websites
- Subscriber-imported customer lists
COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
HigherBooking uses different tracking technologies depending on the part of the Service used.
Hoster Barber Websites
- Hosted barber websites do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioral tracking.
- These sites use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-first, GDPR- and CCPA-compliant analytics service.
- Fathom Analytics does not use cookies, does not track individuals, and does not store personally identifiable information.
HigherBooking Website and Application
Our main website and the HigherBooking app may use strictly necessary session cookies for:
- Authentication and login
- Account security
- Fraud prevention
- Platform stability
These cookies do not track users across the internet and are not used for advertising.
No Advertising Cookies
HigherBooking does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or behavioral ad technologies.

- Providing opt-out options where required
HigherBooking acts only as a processor and is not responsible for message content or compliance.
HOSTED WEBSITES & VISITOR DATA
For hosted barber websites:
- Subscribers are the Data Controllers for all visitor and customer information
- HB is the Data Processor and handles technical hosting and analytics
- HB does not monitor or control Subscriber content
- HB may disable a hosted website for violations of law or platform policies
HB may provide Subscribers with anonymized Fathom Analytics reports.
DATA RETENTION
HigherBooking retains personal information for as long as necessary to:
- Provide the Service
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements
- Maintain platform integrity
Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the data.
DATA SECURITY
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Although we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no system is completely secure.
